ECGO was founded in 2020 by students at Georgia State University. Our team felt compelled to address one of the most obvious yet overlooked solutions to addressing climate change - recycling. Through our collective action, we have the power to reduce the waste sector’s total emissions 84% —the equivalent to taking all U.S. motor vehicles off the road for a year. Our mission is to empower consumers to do just this.
